Tonight we have an evening of great live music from:
Hannah is singer/songwriter from Glasgow. Her music fuses folk and soul, and she plays both piano and guitar in her sets. Hints of Laura Marling and Eva Cassidy can be identified in her performance. Her debut EP ‘The Day That I Loved’ is available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon Music. She is currently gigging around London having played shows with the likes of Sofar Sounds London and Nest Collective, and at places like Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. She is also an alto with London Contemporary Voices.
Martha Paton is a South London-based singer and writer of little chocolate-box songs about the city, suburbia, and how f*cked we all are. Born in the badlands of Hampshire and raised on the worst pop excesses of the 90s and early 00s, she now specialises in folk- and country-infused pop (which she calls Briticanna) that takes cues from Laura Marling, Regina Spector, Margo Price and First Aid Kit. You may have seen her busking a gut out on the South Bank, or supporting artists like Rae Morris, Kim Churchill and Joel Baker.
George Boomsma is a progressive folk musician from Northallerton, North Yorkshire. George’s effortless vocals and sensitive guitar playing evoke an intimate atmosphere that silences even the rowdiest of crowds.
In the Summer of 2016, George released his debut self-titled album which he is touring through out the UK and Europe. He has just released his single ‘Streets Paved With Gold’ in run up to his second album ‘Do Something With The Night’ which shall be released February 16th 2018
He has supported artists such as ‘Natty’, ‘The Travelling Band’ and ‘Skinny Lister’, been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music playlisted and performed at Latitude Festival 2016 on the BBC Introducing stage.
Nathalie Miranda is a full-fledged, soul belter, power-house vocalist with a 5 octave range. Notable for her unique, soulful voice, and high energy performances, this artist is definitely one to keep an eye on.
The voice and energy is distinctly Nathalie Miranda – the UK’s answer to the US Uber Divas.
And it’s her voice, this incredibly soulful, deep voice that makes her so unique.
Her sound is somewhere between Soul and Blues from days gone by, all with a modern edge, combined with high energy performance, and jam -packed with emotion.
Nathalie’s latest 3 track release ‘Bulletproof’ is now available to download on iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon, Spotify, and all major platforms.
BBC Radio 6 + 1 playlisted northern alternative pop, Ridley Woof
centres around dark, inventive sounds with sharp lyrics and an
honest tone. A range of influences twist and turn their way through
the jazz tainted rich sounds on offer.
Combined with a wry wit, Ridley Woof set out as something very
