The Link are a pop/rock duo from Streatham, South London, consisting of twin brothers Theo and Bertie Pedrick. They provide a mixture of ballads and rock anthems, all with their own distinctive harmonies. In 2016 they were championed by Coldplay, and in December were invited by Universal into their studios to record a number of demos. They are back at the Bedford on Thursday 1st June 2017 to headline.
Reuben Gray is a young singer songwriter based in london. He is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, starting piano at a young age and then taking up the saxophone a few years later, as well as teaching himself guitar to accompany his voice for performances at gigs around Surrey and London. His latest accomplishments include being selected to play at The Bedford – Balham, The Borderline Soho a part of Musique’s Youngstars, The Boileroom, The Fiddlers Elbow – Camden, Chris Evans’s pub The Mulberry Inns 10th anniversary, The Bedroom Bar, supporting Coyote (now named Portland) at The White Horse, and playing on the Lions Den stage at the Haslemere fringe. He has performed at many different open mic nights throughout surrey and London including The Spice Of Life Soho – London and The Alley Bar – Guildford, in order to test new exciting material and gain experience. He is currently in the studio working on his debut EP.
Susie Wilkins is an English singer-songwriter, producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, who began her career in Hong Kong, both as an artist & composer.
She’s performed at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Paris’ La Cigale, Amsterdam’s Paradiso and Berlin’s Schiller Theater, supporting Joe Jackson.
Her music has been heard on major television & radio networks including BBC Television, BBC radio, ITV & Channel 4. She has also received airplay in the US on WXPN, KBCO & has been featured in American Songwriter magazine.
Martha Paton is a singer-songwriter from Hampshire. She’s a bit folk, a bit country and a bit pop, a combination made manifest in her catchy songs and clever lyrics. Having released her latest EP ‘Pulling Threads’ in February of last year, Martha is already hard at work in the studio recording new music for 2017 which she intends to release later in the year.
Tommy Coyle is an indie folk rock singer-songwriter from York, England. He moved to London in 2011 and founded an open mic at The Camden Eye. Here he met a lot of talented musicians who inspired him to become a full time musician.
Tommys songs have been compared to artists such as Jackson Browne, Bright Eyes, Arctic Monkeys, Ryan Adams, Elliott Smith, Sufjan Stevens, Frank Turner, Glasvegas and The Longpigs. Like these artists he writes lyrically driven songs with strong, simple melodies delivered with passionate vocals.
Tommys songs cover a range of subjects including war (Ahmed), childlessness (Without kids to grow) and depression (Everybody Loves Ya).
Whilst in London he has played shows at Alan McGees Greasy Lips Club (Brixton Jamm), The Half Moon, Dublin Castle, Camden Wheelbarrow and The Notting Hill Arts Club.
In March 2013 Tommy released an album of some of his best songs, produced by Gary Hall at The Voodoo Rooms, Preston (Voodoo Sessions). You can buy this album from www.cdbaby.com.
He is currently recording his debut album proper and will be releasing some singles and videos along with it in early 2017.
