Tonight we have an evening of great live music from:

A unique mix of Irish and Zambian and the combination of two very different, yet similar cultures has created a passion for music that comes from deep within the soul of Stephanie McCourt.
A fan of the golden era of soul performed by the likes Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Janis Joplin, James Brown, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles amongst others; it as if Stephanie McCourt was born in the wrong decade, explaining her unique vintage look and style. Stephanie knew she wanted to pursue music from a young age and studied with the legendary vocal coach Tona de Brett, (Seal, David McCalmont, Joe Strummer, Dido, Duffy, and more.) who seeing something special in Stephanie became her vocal coach from the age of 9 to 15. Stephanie’s pursuit of a career in singing was going well, school however was a different story. During Secondary school Stephanie experienced extreme bullying leaving her with a feeling of loneliness, despair, lacking confidence and often upset. Her only escape from the hell she was experiencing was through her singing as she continued daydreaming of performing on stages across the globe Upon finishing school Stephanie enrolled at BIMM. (Brighton Institute of Modern Music) Graduates include the likes of platinum recording artists The Kooks and Tom O’Dell to name but two. She started to spend all of her spare time hanging out with her musician friends, learning to write songs and honing her skills as a songwriter. Despite discovering her new writing talent and knowing that she could sing, Stephanie didn’t know what to do next. “I kinda became depressed. For the next 2 years or so I was depressed not knowing what I was doing. Drifting in and out of bands, working with producers and trying different styles of music that didn’t quite fit, but the silver lining was that I could suddenly convey emotion in my songs. Before then I always listened to people like Aretha Franklin and would think wow how do they do that? How do they get that emotion in there? It was only after I came out of the depression that I knew how to do it. Now whenever I sing I can bring that emotion to a song.” With a newfound energy and desire to succeed Stephanie focused on the pursuit of her dream. It was then that she met her now manager Ben Wynter, who was introduced to her by a mutual friend. They began talking and after a short amount of time the ever-sassy Stephanie approached Wynter and asked if he’d be interested in managing her. Needless to say it wasn’t long before she had signed to Unstoppable Music Group for management. Immediately Stephanie set to work on an ep, which she released in June 2014. The ep titled Stripped Back charted in the top 5 on Itunes Ireland and also saw Stephanie nominated for two Urban Music Awards for Best Newcomer and best R&B/Soul act going on to win the award for Best Newcomer.

Italian, born in 1990, Ivano originally grew up as a piano player from the early age of 7 and that passion’s never left him.
When he was 15 he finally put his hands on his very first guitar, a Fender Telecaster and along with it the first bands came out of the ground. Northern Italy and Switzerland became a vibrant scenario to gradually improve his skills as a guitarist.
2011 was time when the step forward had to be taken: bands no more, he then focused on his songwriter side and by that time the solo project began.
Moved to London in 2015 and graduated in June’16 at the British & Irish Modern Music (BIMM) Institute in Fulham, he travels back and forth Italy and UK for promoting his original music.
His first three-song EP “Smell of bread & singing crows”, totally self-produced, has been released in April ’17 and his stage name is “Sir & the Ivanoe”.
