Tonight we have an evening of great live music from:
Monelise is an artist in whose haunting compositions classically inspired soundscapes are situated into 21st century tone poems. Her music blurs the boundaries between classical and contemporary; lyric and poetry; reality and dream. Having toured over 20 street pianos and traveled to Iceland to make an elemental music video in 2017, she is currently completing her Masters Degree in Popular Music at Goldsmiths University and performing at some of London’s best hidden venues.
Originally from North Wales, singer, song writer and multi instrumentalist Martyn Peters is now firmly a resident of London and is currently promoting his debut album Veins.
Released in 2017 and featuring ten original tracks written and arranged by Martyn, Veins follows themes of love, loss, optimism, friendship, social interactions and relationships.
Since its release Martyn has been played on BBC 6Music by Steve Lamacq, performed support for Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud, Galway Girl. Kylie, Haim, Lucas Graham) and Tommy Scott (Space – Female of the Species, Neighbourhood) and won Best Male at the Radio Wigwam Awards and has gigged extensively across London.
Plans for 2018 include festival dates, a U.K. tour and a return to the studio.
Tenacity is a singer and songwriter. She’s been playing the guitar and piano since she was a child. Her style is a mixture of blues, rock, jazz and pop. She’s 17 years old and she moved to London from Poland just a few months ago to study music at the BRIT School. She loves performing original music as well as covers of the songs by her favorite artists such as Radiohead, Nirvana or Amy Winehouse.
NAPAEA is the 5-piece Folk-Pop band around Austrian Singer-Songwriter Katharina Milchrahm. Using a broad range of dynamics, NAPAEA tell their listeners about wanderlust and growing up in small villages.
NAPAEA combine Indiefolk with nautical tunes, Singer-Songwriter, and a touch of Punkrock, and present this crossover-beast with an extraordinary selection of instruments: guit, bass, drums, concertina, fiddle, and blues harps promise excitement, when NAPAEA take their crowd on a trip through Irish pubs and at sea.
Since NAPAEA formed in 2015, they’ve already played more than 50 shows and supported and played with musicians like Wallis Bird and PJ Bond among others, recorded and released “the first EP” on CD as a DIY project in April 2016, produced their single “Art Thou Lost At Sea” in late 2016, including a super-nice video filmed at the coast of England and ate tons of pizza.
