N16 Theatre at The Bedford

N16 Theatre start 2017 strongly with an outstanding  lineup of emerging new plays.

“Our main aim is to make this space the place to come in London for up and coming theatre companies and writers and actors without any large overheads to cripple them before they’ve even got around to making their work. As companies like ideastap go broke and the arts council continues to shrink we feel like it is a vital time for theatre practitioners to be given this sort of opportunity.”

A Scratch Night for Re:Production

A Scratch Night for Re: Production by White Slate Theatre

First came the iconic tumultuous story of F.Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald, then came the compelling & exposing story of Photographer & Nurse, & now the award-winning White Slate Theatre are putting together their third piece of new writing to face the stage. Re: Production tells the story of a scientist, on the cusp of a new IVF discovery, who is faced with difficult decisions about her own fertility. This intimate production will explore women’s choices when weighing up careers, motherhood, & where self-worth is found.

Come & experience three short explorations of how this story might unveil. Whether you’re involved in theatre yourself, you’ve seen so many shows you can’t count, or if this is the first scratch event you’ve ever been to, White Slate Theatre need your help. As they try out new material, not only do they need an audience, but they need honest & creative feedback to help the story develop. Everyone’s opinion matters: come & be part of the conversation.
