Maddie Bowe is a singer/songwriter based in London with connections in North Yorkshire. Maddie’s most recent single “With Everything I Have Left” won the Mayor of London Song Prize 2018, and received its debut radio play this year on BBC Radio York with BBC Introducing North Yorkshire.

Influenced by the likes of early Sia, Tori Amos, James Taylor, Florence + The Machine, Daughter, and Paramore; Maddie enjoys the story telling process involved in writing her own material.
From an early age she was immersed into the world of theatre, and had a passion for the arts. Growing up with professional actors as parents, it was natural for her to aspire to a career on the stage. As her love for writing and playing the guitar grew, this overtook everything else to become her greatest passion.

She has performed at some of London’s best-loved venues such as The Troubadour, Spiritual and the Old Blue Last, as well as completing various UK tours. Highlights include a sold-out Union Chapel, performances for the highly celebrated ‘Letters Live’ events, and recently supporting Ethan Johns at his sold-out London show.

Nathalie Miranda is a full-fledged, soul belter, power-house vocalist with a 5 octave range.
Her musical influences include Prince, Etta James, James Brown, and Chaka Khan to name but a few, and this is reflected in her funky, soul vocals and performances. But her biggest inspiration is Freddie Mercury, which you will know if you follow her on social media!
The voice and energy is distinctly Nathalie Miranda – the UK’s answer to the US Uber Divas! Expect new material later this year.

Summed up by LA-based journalist Jackson Liguori as ‘ominous jazz/soul vocals and crackling hip-hop/DnB beats’, Kaia’s music is clearly born from the evolutionary electro-jazz age, forging its mark in new ground somewhere between the soul, hip-hop and electronic movements of the modern UK music scene. Alongside her unique sound, Kaia’s striking song-writing seems to be equally impactful to listeners, described by Liguori as ‘relentless storytelling and ferocious honesty’, leading her audience ‘into a mystifying soundscape that grips both the ear and heart’.

After a few years of developing her live performance at local venues and festivals in home county Dorset, including playing at The O2 Academy in Boscombe and at Bournemouth 7’s Festival, Kaia’s audience began to grow to wider national and international audiences in 2017 when she was invited to perform on globally renowned Sofar Sounds. Kaia’s first performance was in Jan 2017 at her regional Bournemouth-based Sofar sessions, which then caught the attention of London Sofar Sounds national head event organisers who invited her to play in London in July 2017. Since then, 2018 proved to be a pivotal year for Kaia as she released her debut EP ‘Raw’ on all online platforms in July, followed by spending her summer travelling USA’s west coast and
performing with local musicians on Venice beach, LA. She then went on to relocate to London September 2018 in pursuit of her music. With plans for new releases and touring in the coming year, Kaia is certainly an emerging artist to watch.
