9:30pm NOW EX

Now Ex is the musical pseudonym for singer-songwriter and feature film director, Nick Hampson. In 2017 Nick became one of the youngest film directors to ever sell a feature length project to one of the major streaming services. However, music was always his whole world up until this point, singing as a soloist in the Royal Opera as a teenager, as well as taking up a choral scholarship to the University of Oxford to study music. Now Ex was started as an outlet for Nick’s pop writing, as well as a vehicle to make music for his own upcoming films. Launched during the pandemic, Now Ex has done almost a million streams in its first year, been supported by numerous Spotify Editorial playlists, and will release his debut EP in November, produced by legendary production duo MyRiot (London Grammar, Halsey, Aurora).
