LIVE AT THE BEDFORD

We are excited to be starting live music properly back at The Bedford!

This show is FREE entry however there are a limited number of advance tickets available (at no charge) that you can sign up for which will guarantee a seat ( max 6 per table).

Now that social distancing rules have been relaxed, you can also turn up on the night without having to book in advance on a first come first served basis for extra seats and standing room.

Born and bred in London, Nicky Phillips felt the pull to move north, writing and sharing her open-hearted songs through intimate performances across North West England. She has performed at prestigious venues in London, such as the Southbank Centre, The Bedford and The Troubadour. In the North, Nicky has performed at Night & Day Café, The Whiskey Jar and The Salty Dog, to name a few. After over a decade of songwriting and performing, 2021 has seen the release of Nicky’s debut single ‘Echo’, taken from her upcoming EP. The EP, due to be released in August 2021, is about the ups & downs of holding on to and letting go of love.

Shortlisted for the UK Songwriting Contest prize 2021 and voted ‘Showcase Winner’ at the Open Mic UK competition 2019, Adonye B has been making an impact on the music scene since releasing his debut single ‘Do it cuz u wanna’ in December 2020. Three of his singles have been played on BBC Radio 6 Introducing and BBC Radio Scotland including his latest single ‘New Life’ dedicated to healthcare workers. In addition to radioplay, his tracks have been featured on several Spotify Playlists including Spectoral’s ‘Ones to Watch’ playlist, reserved for ‘rising stars creating high calibre music’.

Adonye B, who is from London and lives in Edinburgh, has been busy growing his artistry and sound over the last few years with live gigs, open mic nights and livestreams. Two words describe his sound; Pop Soul. He is inspired by the likes of Otis Redding, Jessie Ware and Troye Sivan. His debut album, due to be released in Autumn 2021, is a captivating mix of contemporary and classic influences embellishing his strong soulful vocals with antagonistic pop sound designs and making it all danceable and catchy at the same time!
