What's on

LIVE AT THE BEDFORD

We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again, however, due to the Covid-19 situation, we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.

Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there will be a ticket link below – Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand, everyone needs to have a seat, There will of course be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.

For anyone unable to make it in person we will be streaming the show live (our 17th year of live streaming) via the Facebook page – www.facebook.com/thebedfordpub

Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances, as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Due to tier 2 regulations, you can only have one household or support bubble per table. Thank you for understanding.

This evening we have live music from:

8:00pm RACHEL ROSE

9:00pm MIKE NISBET

9:00pm MIKE NISBET

Mike Nisbet is an exciting Singer/Songwriter mastering stripped back folk, blues and Americana inspired stories to melt your heart. Mike provides resplendently vivid imagery, entangled with ravishing guitar lines that ensure the man as an honest, connected, and powerful performer. A medicine you want to soak into at home with a large libation and a weighty spirit. Mike Nisbet recorded his third album I Was A Great Lake, Once over the great Lockdown of 2020. Although the album was recorded over an intense 2 month period the songs had been growing and living with mike for the past 5 years. With I Was A Great Lake, Once, Nisbet took full control over production and performance at his home studio in SE London. With the only other voice on the record being his wife Norma, the result is an incredibly introspective album. Diving into the hope and fears of the man, but never losing sight of groove and melody to bring the audience into his world.

Mike’s new album ‘I Was A Great Lake, Once’ arrives on Nov 2020. Available digitally and on 180g vinyl as a limited release.
