Hailing from Greek Cypriot roots and growing up in North London, music is the constant in Yasmin Kiddle’s life. With no formal teaching Yasmin mastered guitar and piano, while her desire to express through writing began at the age of only 7. Musically her influences come from two unlikely worlds, classic 60’s rock and soul, fused with the modern grime, RnB and electronic genres have resulted in melodic, soothing songwriting and honest, touching story telling.
After being introduced to Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene & Paul Weller) in 2017, the two have collaborated together to produce both of Yasmin’s EP’s. Following the success of Yasmins debut EP, The Precede, a support slot was landed on the Ocean Colour Scene 2018 national tour, which included performances at the SSE Hyrdo in Glasgow and the Dublin Olympia Theatre. The Ocean Colour Scene boys have since invited Yasmin back to support them on their 2019 ‘Summer in Scotland’ tour. Shortly after, Yasmins sophomore EP ‘Soul Tide’ was released to an incredible response, with Yasmin being named “one of the most exciting talents in British Soul”.
Vimbainashe Rose Gamure, also known as Vimbai-Rose is a 20 year old singer, songwriter, born in London but raised in Hertfordshire, England. Her debut EP was released, December 11th 2017. Her honest, yet vulnerable lyrics are what make her so unique. The distinctive production in each song is what brings the project to life. The purpose of ‘Reality Awaits’ is to explain the harsh realities of life that everyone goes through and explain them in the most beautiful way possible. From and early age, Rose was inspired by her father, (of whom features in the ‘Reality Awaits’ cover) she began to take on music as he was a well known reggae-musician and went to his shows in London being left with musical influence. His passing in 2006 when she was just 7 years old pushed her to finish off what her father started. Her song ‘Heaven’ is a tribute to him.

East London native Chinwe is a singer-songwriter and producer who sights Nina Simone and Portishead among some of her biggest influences. The self-taught musician started writing songs at an early age, and later began experimenting with production as another outlet for her creativity. Her debut single “Blue” released in June of this year shows how Chinwe effortlessly interweave elements of soul, RnB and electronic music to produce her tailor-made sound. The emotional depth of her songwriting, coupled with a voice reminiscent of someone far beyond her years, makes Chinwe an exciting artist to watch in the coming year.
