ADA MORGHE

ADA MORGHE “Germany´s answer to Norah Jones” (GOOD TIMES MAGAZINE)

Her timeless vocal beauty and accomplished jazz/soul songwriting made her two albums “PICTURES” and “BOX” so captivating. Her debut album was released in 2019 and accumulated over a million streams since. Her latest album “BOX” has been stated “the best you can currently hear in the songwriting pop sector.” (JAZZTHING)

Ada is accompanied by Luke Smith (keys), Luca Boscagin (guitar), Josh MckNasty (drums) and Livingstone Brown (bass) to perform the greatest hits from her latest album “BOX” that stretches from tight, upbeat funk to melancholic seductive jazz tunes and a romantic Parisian spirit, which echoes Edith Piaf and Juliette Gréco. Another highlight: the song “Box” was co-written with a kindred spirit of the shape of Roachford. „BOX” marks a true coming of age. Relaxed pop songs, expressively formed by Ada Morghe with her distinctive deep voice.

ELLIE HARRIS

ELLIE HARRIS is a 21-year-old, self-taught singer/songwriter and performer from West London. She began writing and composing music at age 9, developing a powerful voice with depth and range far beyond her years.

Her tiny stature is somewhat deceiving for she is a convincing balladeer, her sound feels established, almost authoritative, and displays a level of maturity and charisma beyond her years.
Her jazzy tones cross different genres producing an original and unique sound.

In 2019 Ellie graduated from the prestigious BRIT School after 4 years on both music performance courses. She is now passionately pursuing her career as an independent artist. She’s been supported by BBC introducing, BBC upload, and many more. Recent releases are supported by New Music Friday and Jazz UK Spotify playlists.

With several notable releases already under her belt, Ellie has performed widely across London in her trio/quartet, at notable venues including The Ned, Half Moon Putney, The Pheasantry, White City House, Blues Kitchen, and The Spice Of Life. Members of the Ellie Harris trio include highly skilled Stanley Wickham on drums and Charlie Runham on bass, both attending Trinity Laban Conservatoire.

SOMEONE

Someone is the moniker for Dutch/British musician, producer, and visual artist Tessa Rose Jackson. Her music is as light as Air, as fragile as Feist, as deep as Nick Drake, and as melancholic as an early Mazzy Star.  Her latest single “I’m Not Leaving” was released on the 27th of August, together with a cinematic video that appears to take influence from the resurging folk-horror genre with its pastoral settings and Pagan masks recalling Ari Aster’s “Midsommar” at first, but it is soon apparent it mirrors the lyrical themes of ‘I’m Not Leaving’, of empathy, support, and hope, as one friend pulls another from the edge of a really dark place.

This single, together with the previous two singles “Strange World” (for which the video won Best Music Video at the Los Angeles Film Festival) and “Paris At Midnight”, can be found on Someone’s upcoming album “Shapeshifter”, which will be released on September 10th.  This album, recorded in a strange bubble during lockdown, shows an intimate side of Someone. It covers subjects like mental health, loneliness but also resilience, whilst Jackson’s velvety voice and personal lyrics provide the core of the record.
