“Darla Jade is really one to watch this year!” – Chris Craker (Owner of Karma Sound Studios in Thailand)

Darla Jade recently travelled thousands of miles to Thailand for an artist development retreat at Karma Sound Studios and since then has teamed up with some great producers and writers who were also working on the camp! The Stoke-based singer released her debut single “This Time” on the 19th of April, which has been described as ‘cool’ and ‘unpredictable’. Darla’s sound would be best described as scandipop because of her unique vocals and the underlying electronic feel to her songs. The artist started gigging at the age of 15, entertaining many different audiences in some great venues, such as The NEC Birmingham, The Lawrence Batley and she recently performed alongside The Dark Tenor on a tour around Germany. In July 2019 the singer-songwriter wrote an albums worth of material in Thailand, which will be released over the next coming months and into the beginning of 2020.

Aurora D’Amico is a singer, songwriter and musician born in Palermo, Italy in 1993.

Thanks to a classical music background and a deep passion for Pop and Folk music, Aurora shapes her skills as a songwriter in her hometown attending the Berklee College Online. But it is after a life changing experience at the Bluebird Cafè in Nashville, that Aurora makes the decision to take her songs to the audience.

Quickly she becomes a notable artist in the local music scene, performing in numerous pubs and festivals. In 2015 she travels to England to record her first EP ‘Barefoot’ in her friend’s home studio. The warm sounds and the pure songwriting soon capture the interest of Italian producer Fabio Rizzo, and in 2017 the two work together on her first LP ‘So Many Things’, published by the independent record label 800A Records.

Aurora’s performance is a spiritual experience, where all sorts of emotions are released like waves of love, fervour, happiness, sorrow. This is the power of Aurora’s music, that perfectly combines sophisticated lyrics, memorable melodies and a unique voice that goes beyond the audience expectations every time.

Aurora has now become a Fender and G7th The Capo Company endorser. She collaborated with the US Embassy House in Rome and Washington D.C., and keeps taking part in many radio and TV shows, as well as music events around Italy, with the desire of sharing her personal stories through her songs.

Having gigged locally since the age of fifteen in and around Shropshire, Joseph Bell is a singer-songwriter now based in London. Bell blends a range of influences together to create a unique sound, from indie-rock and singer-songwriter to modern R&B and electronic music. He released his single ‘Bangkok’ as Coryndon Bell in October 2017, described by listenwithmonger blog as ‘a sub-three minute slice of indie-acoustica in the vein of Bon Iver or Badly Drawn Boy with a fragile beauty in its simplicity that is hard not to fall in love with.’

Bell also received BBC introducing play for his 2015 EP under the name Joe Bell, with DJ Jolon Kemp-Walker praising his song Lightspeed and stating he instantly ‘fell in love’ with it.

Since then, Joseph has been gradually building his online fanbase, performing across London and developing his producing and writing skills. Recently, Bell finished 3rd in the Loco Music singer-songwriter competition and has played at established venues across London such as the Fiddler’s Elbow, Apples and Pears Bar and the Half-Moon in Putney.
