8:30 PM    WESSON

WESSON is a British alt/rock band led by singer/songwriter Chris Wesson. Based in Milton Keynes, the four-piece band was formed under the mutual decision to find like-minded souls who needed music as part of their everyday life and the essence of their being. Along with bassist Callum, guitarist Jimmy, and drummer Dale, the band creates music that is relatable, conversational, and meaningful.

With each band member coming from a different musical background, WESSON soaks up an amalgam of influences, resulting in a collective mix of pop, punk rock, and indie with soaring vocal parts and an overall sound that is entirely its own. Emitting a gritty rock undertone, bold melodic bass riffs, and driving drum beats, WESSON delivers a soundtrack to everyday life events, touching on reflections and memories that pass them by. Their organic approach to songwriting allows their music to be honest and identifiable. Spreading messages of living unapologetically, the band shares, “We hope to inspire others to be honest with their life and not be frightened to be themselves.”

9:30 PM LUKE CAREY

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Jamie T, Ed Sheeran, Eminem, and Damien Rice. Luke Carey has crafted his own unique style into his songwriting. Relatable, honest, and truly talented, this North Londoner merges contemporary and upbeat vocals with a classic acoustic style.
Join the world of a young guy trying to find his feet and sharing his highs and lows of navigating the fields of romance and carving a career as a musician with a pinch of humour and one hell of a talent for songwriting.
A firm believer in the 10,000 hour rule, Luke set himself the challenge of playing 100 gigs in 100 days which proved a huge success and is one of the reasons he credits for making the Top 10 of the iTunes chart without a hint of PR. Coinciding with this success he won the Unsigned Stars Competition, a feat previously held by MOBO and Brit Award-winning grime artist Stormzy 2019 saw Luke take things up a level by selling out two London shows following his first appearance at Glastonbury Festival.
