17-year-old Honey Mooncie began writing songs at just 11-years-old, influenced by jazz greats such as Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Etta James and Chet Baker.

Inspired by the recent breakout success of fellow young artists Billie Eilish and Clairo, she persuaded her parents to purchase a used Macbook, downloaded Logic, watched YouTube tutorials and began to write and produce her own material, while studying musical theatre at college.

Her vocal has been likened to Billie Holiday, Minnie Riperton and Lily Allen to name a few.

She is currently busy in the recording studio and will be performing tracks from her unreleased debut material.

Following on from the release of his latest single “Berlin” (Hot Press’ summer “Ones to Watch” listings 2017), and an inclusion on the “Live at the Marquee” line up; James OR has a lot to say to 2018.

His debut EP “Cold Open” was a mixture of “heartfelt, tear-jerkingly honest and bittersweet” sentiment; which brought performing opportunities with The Coronas, Damien Dempsey, Ham SandwicH and more.

Now, with his debut album “All the Beds We’ve Been In” nearing completion; it seems there’s no silencing this exciting Irish indie prospect. Watch recklessly.
