Tonight we have 5 fantastic original artists performing live in the Club Room

Martin Connon is a singer songwriter based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is a self-taught and self-styled guitarist, having first picked up the instrument in his late teens. Martin has constructed a musical persona that is both highly commercially appealing in its humanity and relatability, and deeply personal in its intrinsic introversion. His sound blends guitar pieces with mature vocals etched with feeling and experience; his songs are stories of times past and present, stories that can be shared and empathised with by large numbers of people. His songs are distinctive in their ability to be both anthemic yet containing undeniable elements of self-examination and introspection.

Adwoa’s first experience in a band came when she was 15 years
old. In the years following, she was active in various studio and live
band projects. She studied voice and guitar at the Jazz School of
Munich. Afterwards, she completed drum studies at Drummers
Focus. Adwoa was a drummer on tour throughout Germany with a
cover band, always driven by the desire to express herself in the
music from all angles.

These days, her guitar and her voice take center stage as she
melds warm and bittersweet sounds, baring the soul and
marvelously opening the channels to the groove inside her
melodies. Her singing, reared in her mother’s living room under the
tutelage of the greats of soul music, shows a virtuosity that is as
casual as it is breathtaking.

Adwoa has lived in Berlin, her chosen home for 15 years. She has performed in numerous clubs and festivals and gathered an ever-growing community of supporters.

In 2011, she released her debut album Tief Wie Das Meer (Deep As
the Ocean) on Ear Lab Records through which she received
widespread praise by the press and the public.

In 2014, Adwoa started her own record label, Sugarpie Records.

In 2015 she released her second album „Exil” (Exile) on Sugarpie Records, followed by a tour with her band through Germany.

2016 Adwoa moved to London, since then she has worked as a guitar/vocalist for different cruise lines. She is currently working on her third album.
