Straight from the chilly streets of Nottingham, 19-year-old Tori Sheard has already been recognised by the coveted BBC Introducing and gained the support of her hometown. She was January’s ‘Artist Of The Month’ for Caffe Nero.

Her earthy, delicate and ethereal sound finds its nuances in the likes of Daughter and Keaton Henson. Entangled with folk and indie undertones, her poetic songwriting has captured the seasoned music scene of Nottingham; and delivered a sold-out EP launch at the city’s Rough Trade venue.
The young songstress’ debut EP, ‘Edge of the Earth’ graced the iTunes alternative charts at #27 (Number 20 in Poland!) and continues to gain popularity.

From the upbeat folk of ‘Treading Water’ to the stripped back emotion of ‘Strangers’, Tori’s EP encapsulates a dreamy, ambient vibe that epitomises the cool yet rustic music roots she has cut her teeth on.

8:45pm ALX GREEN

Alx Green is a singer-songwriter from Chester in the North West of England. Seamlessly fusing modern folk music with dynamic vocals, invigorating melodies and percussive finger-tapping his songs have a fresh new feel but retain that classic songwriter sound.

Alx Green has previously released several demo EP’s and in 2016 after three months touring Europe in his van with a homemade bed in the back, he released his first studio EP ‘My Way Home’ which achieved number two in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter pre-order charts.

Alx’s songs have received several plays on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music, BBC Radio Merseyside and have been described as ‘stunning stuff’ by BBC Introducing DJ Dave Monks. His last single ‘Got To Learn’ was played by Chris Hawkins on BBC 6Music along with the description “in a crowded market he’s a real talent”.
