Dublin-based singer-song writer Danny Byrne has distinguished himself as a sought-after vocalist, guitarist, and stage performer for nearly a decade. Originally from Kildare, Ireland, Danny’s soft vocal tonality is drawn from a broad range of musical inspiration, from folk to metal to pop. The variety of his musical palate has allowed for his vocal development and range to grow into a uniquely malleable and genre-less sound. His voice has been described as “smooth, for easy listening”, but Byrne’s flexibility behind the mic allows him to add a variety of recording credits and associated acts to his resumé.

No stranger to the touring circuit, Danny has traveled the world as the lead singer and guitar player in the intentionally-acclaimed Irish Celtic – Spirit of Ireland since 2014. And since 2015, Byrne has appeared as the front man and lead singer in Indie-rock band Soldiers Can’t Dance and Next in Line, one of Dublin’s preeminent heavy metal groups. Yet while Danny enjoys the on-stage limelight, his primary focus is on his solo work. His 2018 release of the alternative-acoustic single “These Things” caught the attention of many Irish artists, including up and coming rapper Craig Cooney, who commissioned Danny to add a catchy chorus to the recent hit single “Proud”. Danny will also be featured in Brooklyn-based producer Chris Stath’s remix of “Water’s Fine”, off the 2018 beat tape Fruits And Veggies. Byrne’s forthcoming studio EP, packed with “personal reflection and stories from the road”, promises the same type of range and variety as his career so far.
