The Bedford is a beautiful Grade II listed building. As a result our 15 boutique bedrooms are utterly unique in terms of charm and character. They range from cosy to luxury super-king in size and feature the utmost attention to detail.

All rooms include super-king, king or twin Hypnos beds, Egyptian cotton linen, a smart HD TV, free WiFi, en-suite bathroom with roll top bath or rain shower, air conditioning, Nespresso machine, black-out blinds, mini-fridge and safe as standard.

Guests receive complimentary tea and coffee in their room and can enjoy 33.3% off all food throughout their stay.

Located in Balham, the heart of south London, The Bedford is just a fifteen-minute journey to central London via train or a 10-minute walk to the sights of Clapham Common (and its regular festivals) or Tooting Bec Lido (an historic open-air swimming pool). The train from Balham to Gatwick Airport takes just 35 minutes, making it an excellent location for business or pleasure. 

Please note The Bedford is a live music, club & private event venue, open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. We fully comply with modern building regulations however at times music can be audible at a low level.
