BALHAM COMEDY FESTIVAL 2024

ANGELA BARNES – SOLO SHOW – WEDNESDAY, 17th July

Solo Show

PICTURED: Angela Barnes

ANGELA BARNES

“Is Getting Worked Up”

Work In Progress

Join Angela Barnes as she tries out some new ideas she’s had. There will be thoughts, there will be stories, there will be successes, there will be failures, and there will be jokes – so come along to find out which is which…
Angela swapped a career in health and social care for stand-up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back. With an assured stage presence and joyful performance, Angela mixes warm autobiographical material with plenty of strong jokes. She has a knack for finding humour in the ordinary, infusing her routines with genuine charm. She attacks her one liners and punch lines with confidence, quickly endearing herself with her audience with her no-nonsense easygoing manner.
She is, quite simply, great company, great fun.
“A gloriously down-to-earth, straight talking and extremely funny comic.” – THE GUARDIAN
