London-born singer, songwriter and musician Yasmina Cherelle possesses a powerhouse vocal, composes quality original songs, and delivers striking and unforgettable live band performances. Her new song “Liberate Me”, produced by Wayne Wilkins (Beyonce), which she wrote and produced the music video for, has been met with critical acclaim. She was offered to headline West Hollywood’s prestigious The Hotel Cafe and will be the opening act for the iconic singer-songwriter Paddy Casey this year. Yasmina attracted considerable interest from labels and publishers on both sides of the Atlantic. She has amassed an impressive collection of songs, which in turn has attracted elite collaborations from the likes of Robert Jazayeri (Britney Spears, All Saints, No Doubt), Wayne Wilkins (Beyoncé, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis), Bhavik Knightstarr (Craig David, Pixie Lott) and most recently Pam Sheyne (Christina Aguilera). Musically literate, Yasmina is inspired by an eclectic array of talent, including Prince, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Ella Fitzgerald, and it was a version of Gershwin’s “Summertime” that saw her win a talent contest.
Alongside her musical career as a creative, she is also a talented dancer and choreographer, with the music video for her new song “Liberate Me” being mostly choreographed by her, along with choreography by the fantastic Kimberly Wyatt (The Pussycat Dolls). Yasmina is also a talented actress and appeared in Bridget Jones’s Baby and The Royals with Elizabeth Hurley, as well as the lead part in the musical Fame, and the part of Jan and lead dancer in the musical Grease. In addition to her gigs, she has also worked with artists as diverse as Drake, Robin Thicke and Stereophonics. In addition to this, Cherelle is an accomplished guitarist whose talent was recognised in a scholarship bestowed upon her by the Dublin College of Music. She also discovered she could play the piano and the drums by ear at a young age, all of which allowed her to make a library of original music.
All this activity is being closely monitored by live agents who have witnessed her powerful vocal performances (variously and positively compared to the likes of Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande among others) enhanced by a natural stage presence and charisma, fashioned and honed by extensive performances. She is set to perform at several festivals in 2026. This captivating and high-quality live band performance returning to headline The Bedford is a night the London music scene is looking forward to and one simply not to be missed.
