What's on

LIVE AT THE BEDFORD

We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again however due to Covid-19 we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.

Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there is a ticket link below.

Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand. Everyone is required to have a seat. There will be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.

For anyone unable to make it in person we will be streaming the show live (our 17th year of live streaming) via our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/thebedfordpub

Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Current guidelines only permit tables of six or two households or bubbles.  Thank you for understanding.

This evening, we have live music from:

8:00 PM RUG

8:30 PM BONNIE AND THE JETS

9:30 PM LAUREN LUCILLE

8:30 PM BONNIE AND THE JETS

Bonnie And The Jets are an up-and-coming Norwegian band that has forged their musical aesthetic in the authentic and melodic landscape of the 1960s and 70s. Rune Fredstad from the Norwegian magazine Kulturblekka put it in his review of the debut single Same Old Game; “They are different, distinctive and rather mesmerizing. They are bursting with a collective personality. All of what they do is delivered by a band that obviously doesn’t care one bit about being conventional and is going their own way without compromise.” In September 2021, the band’s first single saw the light of day and was well received by the audience. The video of the same song made it to the semifinals in the well known contest ISC in the music video category. Their debut album was released last year. It turns out that Bonnie and the Jets is an outstanding live band and lives up to the high hopes many have had after hearing their record! Recently, their song “Endless Summer” won the award for `Best Song` in the British Radio WigWam Awards 2022!
