SAM
A longtime resident of London who is primarily a live music curator in London, New York, and Los Angeles, embracing all music genres Sam is equally at home writing songs, which reflect his personal experiences and that of people very close to him. His songs have never been recorded in a studio environment, but occasionally he will pop up to perform a few live, in his peers/friends open mics and recordings of which can be seen/heard on Sam’s Instagram account @sebcollective However, this will be will one of his first ever formal showcase and is honoured it will be at the Iconic Bedford.

ALEKS IN FLUX
Aleks is a singer-songwriter based in London, who 2 years ago decided to go full-time with her music career. Her voice is a throwback to the likes of Janice Joplin meets Tina Turner, which gels well with her electrifying stage performances. Joining her on stage her band Thanos, Felipe Drago and Ewerton Vianna with their roaring playing! Later this year will see the release of Aleks’ debut EP & Single, so keep an eye out for that!

DYLAN WHITE
Dylan White, Oasis, U2, Paul Weller, Suede, Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines…. all names that can rightly be placed together but, whilst there’s a connection, Dylan White was the odd one out: he was a record plugger working for these luminaries, rather than actively releasing music himself. Now, however, the gamekeeper has turned poacher as his own album ‘Unfinished Business’, recorded with multi-instrumentalist and producer Steve ‘Smiley’ Barnard [Robbie Williams, Joe Strummer, The Alarm] has recently been released on ‘All The Cats Recordings’ available on CD and digital formats.
He’s already released three singles and had a raft of radio plays and plaudits from the likes of the late great Janice Long, Alan McGee, Johnnie Walker and Rodney Bingenheimer to name but a few.
The album’s title comes from the fact that, before his adventures as a plugger began, he played and recorded songs. As he says himself, “From 1978 at the age of 20, to around 1988, I put my heart and soul into the desire of being a rock star and so began my adventure into the world of music. I formed various bands and would play gigs in London’s pubs and clubs, and try my hardest to write my own songs”.
As his radio-plugging career took off in the 90s, those songs that hadn’t yet brought him the success he’d wanted, languished unheard in a drawer. When Covid hit, he realised that if he didn’t do something with all this old material soon, then he may never have the chance, so the first of his singles (which he’d re-recorded in 2011 and sat on) was released in 2020.
Dylan says “It was time to wind the clock back 40 years, I went back into the 78-88 cassette box and re-recorded two further forgotten songs.” ‘Caught By Love’ released in 2021 and ‘Designs On That Girl’ released in 2022.
But it was now time to see if Dylan had enough old songs for an album, and sure enough ‘Unfinished Business’ has thirteen tracks, all bar one, which is a cover of ‘Lost In Music’ are from his 78-88 cassette box.
In 2022 Dylan started doing open mic nights which he now does on a regular basis, this is something he never thought he’d be doing again!!
As Dylan White says himself, “I can’t quite believe I’m doing this 40 years after creating these songs, but a good tune will never let you down and you’re only old when you stop dreaming!”

DANIEL BARRIE
It started in the back of a Buick on a road trip across Colorado when Dan was 6. Listening to Country music’s storytelling as well as falling in love with the driving guitars of rock music…….fast forward 14 years Daniel now fuses British Indie rock with the storytelling of Nashville, creating a fresh and vibrant sound.
Daniel has been part of the Coventry music scene for several years playing the normal pub/ club/ open mic circuit, learning his craft, and building his following. As a solo artist, he has independently released 7 songs with ever-increasing popularity having had his song listened to a combined over a quarter of a million times.
He has played countless gigs around the Midlands both solo and most recently with his band, playing the O2 institute in Birmingham, The Godiva festival in Coventry, and selling out a hometown gig in Leamington Spa at the award-winning Temperance. Daniel has also been playing frequently in London, playing prestigious venues like The Half Moon in Putney and The Bedford, multiple times.
