BENJI TAYLOR
Benji Taylor delves into a profound emotional journey, encompassing themes of loss, love, and solitude. Throughout his music, Benji reflects on life-altering experiences and the hardships encountered over the years. The raw and mournful sound of dark and elongated guitar riffs – perfectly capture the frustration felt. However, his music is not without glimmers of hope, as shimmering synths and delicate piano interludes provide a sense of optimism.

THE GUZZLERS
The Guzzlers debut single 20 Pints To Cherbourg all started on board the Dublin to Cherbourg ferry, where brothers Tom and Cian O’Dowd were employed playing Irish songs to entertain the customers. One particularly riotous trip, when numerous pints in French bars led to a very near miss making the ferry, was immortalised in the song, and The Guzzlers were on their way. Fast forward to summer 2025, and the band packed up and left their home of Limerick for Liverpool, armed with their guitars and banjo and a raft of fantastic original songs. Busking outside notable Irish bars in the city led to invitations to perform inside, word got around and soon The Guzzlers were gracing stages of the key music venues in town; The Jacaranda, The Cavern Club and notably The Philharmonic, supporting local legend Ian
Prowse. Reputation grew and the band found themselves with a residency at Anfield, invited to play for the arriving fans at every Liverpool FC home game this season. In November 2025 the band entered the studio with producer Jon Withnall, known for his work with the likes of Coldplay, Rhianna and Echo and the Bunnymen, and they came out with Drinking The Dream, their debut album packed with autobiographical songs inspired by the greats of Irish folk, but with their own unique and intoxicating charm. February will see the release of the aforementioned 20 Pints To Cherbourg, with further singles to follow over the year, including the anthemic The Irish Town of Liverpool, before the album is unleashed in the Autumn. The
Guzzlers will be bringing their raucous live performances to Liverpooland beyond throughout the year, kicking off 2026 by supporting “The Highstool Prophets” at the 02 Academy Liverpool.
Catch them while you can in small venues and get on board the journey.
