However, since graduating in 2021 Mimi’s love for songwriting as a powerful outlet for emotions was re-ignited and she has been focusing on a career in music since.

Mimi is a lyricist at heart. She writes honest and captivating songs, accompanied by soft acoustics. She takes inspiration from artists such as Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine, John Mayer, and Ray La Montagne.

ERICA MANZOLI

Erica Manzoli is a singer, songwriter, and musician poised to make waves as one of the most compelling and exciting new artists in 2022, with relatable, emotive, and gripping lyricism – intimate ruminations of her own inner-workings – weaved through infectious hooks and enthralling melodies. Aged 21 and hailing from South East London, Erica spent lockdown immersing herself in her own thoughts and crafting them into music. Her debut single ‘My Best Friend Is My Therapist’ stemmed from that very period: written during the height of lockdown on her feelings of disconnect having lost touch with friends over the pandemic and being confined to her house where digital conversations with her therapist were her only regular communication. Her forthcoming music diarises her self-reflections, discussing prevalent themes of love and loss alongside visceral themes of depersonalisation and derealisation, set for release throughout 2022 as she cements herself as One To Watch.
