Tipsy Eyes, based in Surrey started work on emotive tracks after a 15-year break. Releasing his first track ‘Emitting Brilliance’ in December 2022, accompanied by a strong remix from Tony Duncan’s Elektranaut was the start of the sonic journey. Having always written emotive music, Tipsy Eyes releases an outburst of soulful notions. Hypnotic beats with moving chords. Aiming to move the listener on every sonic level. More recently, with his remixes, the track Starstruck Love (A remix for the band ‘The Frixion’), seemed an obvious choice from the band to seek out the remix services once again of UK producer Tipsy Eyes – AKA Matt Smith – after his masterful reworking of Collapse in Slow Motion in early 2023. This stunning deconstruction and rebuilding of Starstruck Love showcases his skills and highlights why he is such a sought-after producer and remixer; Tipsy Eyes’ take on Starstruck Love’s dark pop majesty, icy yet bristling with energy, will find a receptive audience and aficionados of vocal-and-beat driven electronic pop.

Infra Violet are a Synth-pop/Indie pop duo based in the UK. A collaboration between producer Toby Campen’s 80’s inspired synth tracks, and singer-songwriter Beth’s intricate guitar and soulful vocals. Forming in early 2020, the duo already has several successful releases including ‘Polaroid’, ‘Radio’ and ‘Grow’, mastered by Pete Maher (Depeche Mode, U2, The 1975). After widespread attention in the Synth scene following their popular hit ‘Polaroid’, they’ve gained regular international radio play including BBC Radio, Phoenix FM and Nightride FM, plus a feature on the ‘This is Synthwave 3’ compilation album by Red Manor Records. ‘Dream Tether’ was their debut album, released in late 2021 to overwhelmingly positive acclaim. Pushing the boundaries of the genre by combining singer-songwriter, rock, fingerstyle and electronic influences, Infra Violet has poured everything into an emotional, passionate and bold debut. Infra Violet has now released the first single ‘Move’ from their highly anticipated 2nd album to be released in late 2024. Plucky guitars and feisty drums give way to an anthem for the overthinkers and the downtrodden, that when everything else falls apart, sometimes all you can do is get out of your head, and dance.

“Headlining tonight is Pixelstorm, an original electropop act from Southeast England. A blend of epic electronica and synthpop with retro 80s hooks, Pixelstorm placed second in the International Electro Act category this year as voted by DJs at Independent Radio Wigwam. Through solo writing, collaborations, and live performances, Pete Johnson has built a strong sound in just 4 years. The stories are timeless, as if lifted from Depeche Mode or Eurythmics, but often with a modern-day dystopian twist: dark tales of technology and madness. His commanding vocals have a touch of Numan and Bowie. The performance fizzles with energy and emotion and is complete with a live Keytar. Pixelstorm can be seen at Oxted Music Festival and B-Side Festival this summer, as well as at original music venues across the south.”
