LIVE AT THE BEDFORD
We are excited to be starting live music properly back at The Bedford!
This show is FREE entry however there are a limited number of advance tickets available (at no charge) that you can sign up for which will guarantee a seat (max 6 per table).
Now that social distancing rules have been relaxed, you can also turn up on the night without having to book in advance on a first come first served basis for extra seats and standing room.

British-born Anouska Assisi is a 19-year-old award-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist whose music is a compelling hybrid of folk rhythms delivered with soul and lyrical authenticity. Musically literate from a young age Anouska has already amassed an impressive body of work and prior to the pandemic was wowing audiences with her live performances. She has a growing fan base internationally and is on the radar of A&R executives on both sides of the Atlantic.
Following a recommendation from celebrated music writer and journalist Mick O’Shea. Anouska is now represented by music industry veteran Michael Garbutt whose credits include David Bowie, Massive Attack, Dr. Dre, and Robin Gibb.

Paediatric nurse Beth Porch may have started her music career singing to her young patients, but she soon captured the nation’s hearts when she became a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent, and her original song “You Taught Me What Love Is” reached number 25 in the UK Top 40. Beth has spent the pandemic working on the frontline for the NHS and songwriting. She can’t wait to finally share her new music with a live audience at The Bedford.

“Mili & Bertie are creating waves with their boundary-breaking sound. Bringing contemporary edginess to an old-school acoustic folk sound, UK-based duo Mili & Bertie are rather difficult to define. In fact, they admit that their music is difficult to categorise as they want to bring diversity to their sonic sphere – and this is what they really do. Their new EP is as dynamic and refreshing as their live performances; engaging, energetic and effortlessly connects with listeners. While there is a strong folk influence to their music, the melodic arrangements introduce some dream-pop beats to the eclectic style. Receiving coverage from York Calling, The Daily Listening, Roadie Music, and Up And Coming, Mili & Bertie are creating waves with their boundary-breaking sound.”

Mili & Bertie have been making music and gigging relentlessly; boldly claiming their unique sound and place in the UK unsigned artist scene. They have performed all over the world, returning from a 12 date U.S Tour just before the Lockdown and have since caught the attention of BBC Radio, BBC Introducing, Talk Sport and numerous local blogs and radio stations. A summer full of live shows included a support slot for James Walsh (Starsailor) and a live performance on BBC 5 Live radio which led to one of their singles being saved in the British Archives!
They kicked off the new year with the release of their debut EP ‘Into The Night’ which features guest performance from Baz Warne, front man of The Stranglers.
The duo have announced a ton of 2022 live dates and are planning a busy year of releasing and performing!
