Small Time Kid is a new London (UK) Americana band whose members also perform regularly at Shepherds Bush Empire, The Roundhouse & the 02 in their “day job” as backing musicians, alongside artists including Jill Andrews, Sir Rod Stewart, Georgia van Etten, Logan Brill and Megan O’Neill. Their songwriting however – notably featured in ABC TV’s worldwide hit series Nashville – isn’t simply informed by the usual stage school / session player career path. Singer/guitarist/songwriter Dan Clark “variously scraped a living as a warehouse boy, building crew lackey and Beyonce’s roadie (long story)” before finally making it as a full time musician, meeting Alex Bramwell (bass), Oscar Reynolds (drums) & Sean Keating (keys) on a nightclub gig. Experience working with Grammy winning producers like Guy Fletcher (Mark Knopfler, Sam Fender, Roxy Music, Dire Straits), Philip Magee (Kodaline, The Script, Gavin James, Miles Kane), Jerry Boys (Ry Cooder, John Lee Hooker, Pink Floyd, REM) & Mark Collins (The Charlatans) proved invaluable in self-producing their first 2 singles, which have racked up over 40k Spotify plays in 2024.

George O’Hanlon is a promising songwriter from the south of England who has rapidly evolved from performing at small-town acoustic open mics to touring Europe with a full band and recording at Abbey Road Studios. His music, characterised by its emotional depth, invites listeners in with beautiful melodies and lyrics that often reflect the complexities of everyday life. As he continues to grow as an artist, his ability to transform fleeting moments into poignant songs ensures a lasting impact on those who connect with his work.

Nicky Ager is a singer/songwriter from Coventry who is a regular on the acoustic and open mic scene. His songs are personal but also reflect a wider view of life and with his soulful voice has become a great exponent of the adage “Sing your Life” Nicky was asked to create the song “Witness” for the album “Front Room Sessions” for Coventry’s City of Culture celebrations and was asked to be one of the performers at an event curated by the legendary musician Terry Hall which had him perform in the magnificent Coventry Cathedral. Nicky also writes music for films and has recently co-written music for a successful musical that has toured Britain.
