LIVE AT THE BEDFORD
We are excited to be starting live music properly back at The Bedford!
This show is FREE entry however there are a limited number of advance tickets available (at no charge) that you can sign up for which will guarantee a seat ( max 6 per table).
Now that social distancing rules have been relaxed, you can also turn up on the night without having to book in advance on a first come first served basis for extra seats and standing room.

The Orange Trees are a duo formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, early 2022. The band consist of vocalist Rue Marie and guitarist, keyboardist, Michael Steele. They have been building a following, playing gigs all around Edinburgh in Glasgow. Playing Edinburgh’s jazz bar in Glasgow Celtic connections is January. Their music takes in an array of influences from Jazz, World, Mediterranean, Electro, Folk, Dream Indie. They have recently had BBC, introducing airplay and their debut single “Current State of Mind” has been warmly received. With a debut album in the works, exciting times are ahead for the OT’s.

NIGEL G. LOWNDES
Unique, melodic and catchy with a sense of humour best defines singer-songwriter Nigel G. Lowndes. Influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash, John Prine, Neil Young and Van Morrison his music is an eclectic collection of stories, with boring people, cups of tea, escaping the city and vampires just some of the quirkiness covered. Cruising in 2023 with his self produced second album ‘Rhymes with Sounds’, he has evolved his sound into a rootsy raw soundscape to focus on the song. Nigel’s live performances are full of fun and energy with audience singalongs a highlight of shows.

LUCA VOLPE
Luca Volpe is a singer songwriter and guitar player from Berkshire, England. He takes inspiration from a range of musical genres including Soul, R&B, Jazz and Blues. This will be his 3rd appearance at the Bedford, this time with some new tracks.

AIMÉE
Irish singer/songwriter aimée has been crafting her ‘own unique stripped back sound’, according to BBC Introducing. Taking influences from soul/jazz and mixing them with pop, she ‘showcases her vocals over lovey vibey beats’ (YEO magazine). As a multi-instrumentalist and emotive singer, she connects with audiences anywhere she plays.

ANDRÆ
ANDRÆ is an independent one-man band leading his own project, associating dark electronic and organic sounds with soulful vocals. Initially influenced by soul and jazz singers like Jimmy Scott or Nina Simone, he also starts showing interest in experimental pop/R&B. Currently based in London, originally from Brussels, he begins to show a natural talent for all kinds of artistic disciplines, especially visual arts, as a way of escaping a world that seems inadequate.
