LIVE AT THE BEDFORD PRESENTS: ZIO with support from THAT JOE PAYNE

International Pop Prog Band ZIO is the brainchild of former Karnataka drummer
Jimmy Pallagrosi. The band made its live debut at Crescendo Festival in France in
2018, unveiling a lineup that included Olivier Castan (keys), Marc Fascia (guitar),
and Liz Hayes (bass), alongside guest vocalists Hayley Griffiths (Karnataka/The
Hayley Griffiths Band) and former Enid vocalist Joe Payne. Together, they released
their award-winning debut album, Flower Torania, a concept album inspired by video
games, fantasy, and 80’s sci-fi films. Flower Torania received critical acclaim, winning
rave reviews and earning the top spot on Notes Reviews' list of best albums of 2020.
In 2023, ZIO released TRUEWAVES, their second album, featuring a stellar lineup of
vocalists, including Eric Gillette (Neal Morse Band), John Mitchell (Arena/Lonely
Robot/Frost*), Corvax, Hayley Griffiths, Magda & Miranda, and Gabriel Agudo
(Incontinuum Band/Steve Rothery Band).

ZIO’s energetic and powerful live show was captured with the 2024 release of
∃LIBOMEVIL, a live concept album showcasing tracks from both Flower Torania and
TRUEWAVES, and recorded during their 2023 UK tour.

The band returns in 2026 with an exciting lineup that includes newcomers Mary
Reynaud (Franck Carducci), Simon Fitzpatrick (Carl Palmer), and Ben Vize (Pyjean).
Bursting onto the UK scene, the band will perform an exclusive run of four shows in
2026, commencing in London on the 5th May.

Full band lineup:
Hayley Griffiths – Lead vocals
Mary Reynaud – Lead Vocals
Marc Fascia – Guitar
Ben Vize – Keys
Simon Fitzpatrick – Bass
Jimmy Pallagrosi – Drums
