LIVE AT THE BEDFORD PRESENTS: BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Team Magik presents their first-ever Battle of the Bands in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK. We have 5 amazing bands all competing for the chance to win the top prize of £500. The winner will be chosen by our professional panel of judges who will also be giving live feedback between sets. The audience can get involved by voting for their favourite band (£1 per vote), who will win £100.

All money raised will go towards supporting families with free accommodation just a stone’s throw from their little ones’ hospital bed, keeping families close when they need it most.

Love Loba

Love Loba is an LGBTQ, feminist fist-in-your-face, soft-core punk band based in London that comprises of Marisol Eichborn (lead singer/guitar), Anastasia Pettinato (drums), and Kaila Cooper (bass). The all-female indie punk group met at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. Their influences include Wolf Alice, Angel Olsen, and Amyl and the Sniffers to name a few. With a proclivity for roaring melodies and a high-energy performance you can expect to be dancing and a total part of the sonic experience. Their songs blend genres ranging from pop, indie, rock, and more. “We can’t wait to share our music with the world!!!!!”

Levee

”We want to be that concert you remember”

As if Clutch had a lovechild with Kaizers Orchestra, Levee delivers head-nodding grooves, stage presence and musical curveballs enough to leave you wondering
where the last 45 minutes went. Their lyrical universe explores the madness of human behaviour, the futility of existence AND the awesomeness of Theodore Rimspoke’s car ‘IL Tempo Gigante’.

Levee is a two-piece hard-rock assault by the Dane Morten Fausboell (guitar/vocals) and the Norwegian Fredrick Lindal (Drums).

Based in London, these two Scandinavians already make waves in the underground by running and headlining their own hugely successful bi-monthly metal night
at a Soho venue, bringing talented acts in, from all over the UK.

Morten and Fredrick made it to the final of Bloodstock Festival’s Metal 2 The Masses 2022 competition, arguably putting the band amongst the six best unsigned hard rock/metal acts in London.

Levee is set to release their debut EP ‘The Edited Ark’ in November 2022.

Penknife are a 3 piece rock band from Croydon, South London. Formed out of lockdown, Penknife blend catchy vocal hooks alongside rock, riffs and a raucous live show. They just might be your new favourite band.
