LIVE AT THE BEDFORD
We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again however due to Covid-19 we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.
Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there is a ticket link below.
Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand. Everyone is required to have a seat. There will be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.
For anyone unable to make it in person we will be streaming the show live (our 17th year of live streaming) via our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/thebedfordpub
Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Current guidelines only permit tables of six or two households or bubbles. Thank you for understanding.

TERRA VIVA is a five piece band based in London. What started as a double bass and voice duo unexpectedly developed into a full band with a unique sound. The social and political topics touched by their lyrics continue to be delivered by their music aimed at making you dance with infectious grooves rooted in Italian folk, rock and world music. Their latest single “Down By The River” is out on all platforms.

TRIS AND THE TRIBE
Tris and the Tribe is a London-based band and the brainchild of singer-songwriter and guitarist Tris Puri. Tris has performed and worked in studios across London and Europe as a solo artist and session guitarist, and this band brings together his diverse musical roots, with elements of blues, soul and jazz, topped with unashamedly poppy hooks. It makes for a truly unique and exciting sound that ranges from fiercely powerful to feather like softness.

TOOTAWL
A looming presence in every sense, Tootawl’s music is frank, forward and rich with emotion. Christened ‘too tawl’ due to his height whilst gigging in Nashville, the name stuck, and upon his arrival home to Ireland he began working as Tootawl.
Since Tennessee, Tootawl has received national radio airplay in Ireland, toured extensively, and also had his song ‘House On The Moon’ played in an episode of the Netflix original series ‘You Me Her’. Playing his own bustling brand of contemporary folk and blues, inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Donovan and Loudon Wainwright III, Tootawl fuses his Irish-ness with these titanic influences.
Now based in London, he released his debut self-titled LP in June of 2020, which was called “an excellent debut” by Hot Press, and Ben Blackwell of Third Man Records called it “wonderfully strong, Dylanesque.” In May of 2022, Tootawl released his second LP, a concept album called Roger Fenton’s Wagon, which was recorded at home during the various lockdowns. It is currently selling healthily on beautiful gatefold vinyl. Now, he has released his latest single, People Fall In Love, in preparation for a third album.

LUKE ASKEW
Luke Askew is a 23 year-old Singer/Songwriter aiming to create a unique blend of Jazz, RnB and Rock. He is inspired by many songwriters including Prince, Stevie Wonder, and James Taylor. He aspires to bring technique and virtuosity to modern music, with a unique flare – combining emotion and craftsmen-ship.

FLORA
Inspired by artists such as The Oh Hellos, Billie Martin and Ashninikko Flora has utilised her deep, distinctive, and velvety smooth vocals with her stunning pop/folk musical melodies that leaves you wanting more from this fresh and unique talent. 2023 has seen Flora rock Union Chapel, Great Escape , Secret Garden Festival , BBC Live lounge to name but a few and in November Flora will be supporting Tom Bright on his UK tour.
