What's on

LIVE AT THE BEDFORD

We are excited to be starting live music back at The Bedford again however due to Covid-19 we have had to make some fundamental changes to the way the evenings run in order to make sure the environment is safe for everyone.

Tonight’s show is FREE entry, but everyone needs to book in advance – there is a ticket link below.

Sadly we have limited capacity and no ability for people to walk in and stand. Everyone is required to have a seat. There will be a full menu and table service throughout the night to look after you all.

For anyone unable to make it in person we will be streaming the show live (our 17th year of live streaming) via our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/thebedfordpub

Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to come early enough and stay long enough to enjoy all the performances as we are unable to use a table for other people if you arrive late, leave early or aren’t able to make it. Current guidelines only permit tables of six or two households or bubbles.  Thank you for understanding.

This evening we have live music from:

8:00PM NORTH

Wielding an ethereal tone, NORTH captivates listeners with a her unique velvety brand of alternative pop, weaved with influence from the renaissance era. Her lyrics are tainted with blissful torment and layered with a veil of elegant, classical production – a combination that makes for a uniquely melancholic project. Like a play, her upcoming project, ‘composing the art of heartache’, is split into three acts. Framed in sorrow, each phase documents the soul aching pain that evolves from heartbreak. Whilst inspired by the likes of Kate Bush, Florence Welch and London Grammar, NORTH presents an unusual soundscape that is hard to compare, but easy to understand.

9:30 PM THEO

UK born Irish artist THEO blends smooth soulful sounds with her chaotic energy to get you in your feels. AT 17 THEO moved to London and following her 2021 release of ‘Jealous’ and ‘Church & State’ she gathered Spotify editorial support and was discovered by Grammy winning artist, Naughty Boy and they are currently finishing their joint EP. From her lengthy childhood Christmas shows involving every family member, to forming her closest friendships through music, and belting out a cheeky tune at Canavan’s karaoke; THEO always found comfort in expressing herself through music. Her earliest musical inspirations stem from Van Morrison & The Commitments being played at home, big Irish names that kickstarted her love affair with soul music that continues into 2023. THEO is set to drop a run of singles from the start of January until she begins the rollout for her Naughty Boy EP later in the year. Previous collaborations include Sophia Thakur (Forbes 30 Under 30, Guap’s Writer of the Year, MINI’s Global BIG LOVE Ambassador) and Irish artist Josh Gray (RTE) but THEO is only getting started so stay tuned for everything she has in store.
