The Balham Beer and Music Festival 2025

This September the Balham Beer & Music Festival is back!

Showcasing 50 beers and ciders from South London’s budding brewery scene against a backdrop of emerging musical talent, this will be a Sunday session with a difference,

You can meet and greet the brewers in our iconic Club Room, pint in hand, where there will be a line-up of seven different top-notch bands.

You can even win beer-tastic goody bags worth over £150 in total. Simply buy a £1 raffle ticket on the day to join in the fun!

Ticket holders are also welcome to enjoy our extensive range of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks should they not be pint aficionados. We strongly advise you to break up the beers with our fab food menu which will be available all day.

Miles Horn is a soulful singer songwriter from South West London. Inspired by the likes of John Mayer, Ray LaMontagne and James Bay, Miles describes his sound as soulful indie rock.

1:45PM LUNA J


LUNA J is a mix of pop rock and 2000s pop creating a modern alternative rock vibe to her music. Her energy and aura on stage is like no other and it immediately catches your attention. Her power vocals and catchy relatable lyrics will leave you wanting more. LUNA grew up in Scotland (Fife) and has now moved to London to further her career. The past 2 years LUNA has spent her time performing around the UK and Australia. She has also written with big names such as Kyle Falconer from The View, The Beautiful South and many more. LUNA J is currently working on a EP for 2026 with 2025 being the year she is set to quickly gain attention from names in the industry.

2:30PM JACK CRITCHLOW


Jack Critchlow is a 21-year-old artist, songwriter, and producer hailing from North Yorkshire, now based in Manchester. Fusing elements of pop, singer-songwriter, R&B, and electronic music, Jack crafts a distinctive alt-pop sound, writing and producing all his tracks independently.

3:15PM TOMMY RODGER


Tommy Rodger is a man of style. A handmade fresh take on an old-school storyteller sound.
This kind-eyed acoustic singer-songwriter keeps his sound stripped back and resembles boys of the past somehow. Here is a funny and thoughtful old-soul who wears his whole heart on his sleeve. As Tommy begins to release his discography, he will discuss many universal themes, so that we can, perhaps together, have a better understanding of this strange circumstance we call life. Let’s get it.

4:30PM MARTHA AND THE FAIRY


Martha and the fairy is a singer and songwriter from London. She has been writing songs since she was 15. Her influences range from CBGB’s era Blondie and Blond Ambition era Madonna, to 90s Blur, The Strokes and Haim. She recently performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Readipop festival with her band and has released 3 singles so far, her 4th is coming soon!

5:30PM MISS BLANCHE


Miss Blanche is an R&B Artist and Songwriter of different musical genres. As a London based artist with Spanish and Swiss origins, Miss Blanche’s sound blends a soulful voice with hip-hop rhythms, pop-jazz chords, and catchy R&B melodies, enriched by funk influences. In addition, because of her musical influences, a retro 70’s, 90’s and 2000’s vibe can be appreciated in her songs. Her lyrics explore themes of female empowerment and love, reflecting her artistic vision. Among her many idols are Lauryn Hill, Raye, Anderson Paack, Jill Scott, Hiatus Kaiyote, Victoria Monet, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, Lucky Daye and many more.

6:30PM MR GRIFF


Mr Griff and The Grifters are an original powerhouse from Cambridge, with an undeniable groove and infectious energy. Spreading messages of hope and unity in the form of classic Funk and Soul, with edgy elements of Rock, Skank and Fusion. With their dynamic and colourful performances, the band have become regulars on the UK festival scene, playing main stage at Cambridge Club Festival, Secret Garden Party, Bedford River Festival and also toured extensively with The Foodies Festival last summer. They have supported Jessie Ware, Alabama 3, Mel C, The James Taylor Quartet, The Edwin Starr band and Natasha Bedingfield amongst others.
