The Balham Comedy Festival

Banana Cabaret’s Balham Comedy Festival is back.

From 9th-18th July expect to see one of London’s first comedy festivals since restrictions have eased performed in our stunning Club Room.

Top comedians on the bill include the likes of Jen Brister, Marcus Brigstocke, Dane Baptiste and Rich Hall who will all perform long awaited solo shows. There will also be the Best of Banana Cabaret nights, where four comics will perform each evening. Enjoy talent such as Ed Byrne, Maisie Adam and Kae Kurd amongst others. The amazing Rhod Gilbert will bring the festival to a close with his full tour show.

Better yet,  tickets cost from just £10 and can be purchased here.

Festival organiser, Banana Cabaret’s Dave Vickers said: “We’ve been at The Bedford for 38 years. Stand up is our lives and our livelihood. Lockdown has been hard and we didn’t want to miss a moment more. Londoners deserve a serious dose of comedy after the last year and we can’t wait to give it to them!”

Balham Comedy Festival show start times vary but comedy fans are encouraged to dine before the gig. With table service plus a brand new menu brimming with the best British produce, from small plates to artisan pizzas, hearty mains to indulgent puds, The Bedford is now the perfect spot for a pre-show meal. There are even 15 new luxury hotel rooms if you’d like to stay the night too.
