Alan Fletcher and Friends

Two nights of Americana in London

“I am incredibly proud of my recent work in the Alt-Country/ Americana genre and I can’t wait to
showcase the music in London,” shared Alan.” I have the best in biz supporting me as well.”

Joining Fletcher for both nights will be Australian Alt-Country legends Lachlan Bryan and the
Wildes and London radio presenter and musician Matt Spracklen.

The first single to be released from Dispatches, a duet with Alan’s Neighbours co-star Alyce Platt,
was released last month. ‘Sorry Is The Word’ was written by Fletcher and produced by the dream
team of Lachlan Bryan and Damien Cafarella, and the release has already been covered by the
Evening Standard, Sky News, the Daily Star and Digital Spy among others.
The follow-up track, ‘Meet Me on the Steps of the Bombed Out Church’ – Alan Fletcher’s take on a
favourite song originally recorded by Liverpool folk artist Silent Sleep – will be released on May

For 27 years, Alan Fletcher has portrayed the character, Karl Kennedy, on the iconic Australian
television drama, Neighbours. He has also appeared in Cop Shop and in the US series, The Love
Boat. His first forays into music were with the rock band, Waiting Room, in 2004 – releasing two
albums and a single. The band has toured the UK ten times in eight years performing to sell-out
crowds and maintaining a weekly residency in Melbourne for 12 years.

In 2020, Alan joined forces with Lachlan Bryan and Damien Cafarella at their Melbourne studio, End
of the Road, to realise his passion for Americana and Folk music. The resulting album, Dispatches,
slated for release later in the year, was previewed at a special live show during the Tamworth
Country Music Festival in Australia in April.

Additionally, Alan Fletcher will be touring the UK in September 2022 with performances of his stage
show The Doctor Will See You Now – The Life and Times of Dr Karl Kennedy.

‘Sorry Is The Word’ – is out now and available to stream/download worldwide.
