Darcey taught herself the piano as a child which instigated her love for music. When studying at York University, Darcey supported herself by attending studio sessions with up and coming producers and DJ’s. ‘Bleeding Love,’ produced by Danny-T, propelled Darcey into the music scene, leading to Keon, a renowned MC, collaborating with Darcey. Other songs she has both written and co-produced include ‘True No More,’ ‘Time Passes’ and ‘I Won’t Lie.’ Max Somerset, TV magician and pianist with an accomplished MMus from Trinity College of Music, has composed and written songs for Darcey’s voice, one of which will be debuted at the Bedford and is set to be released in June of this year.

9:30 PM MILES HORN
Miles Horn graduated from Cambridge University with a Science degree before diving headfirst into the music industry with a job at a major record label. There he worked on campaigns for global superstars and was given the honourable task of buying Taylor Swift American candy whenever she came to town. Soon, however, Miles became disillusioned with being another cog in the machine and broke away to embark on his own artist project.
His music is inspired by the likes of Sam Fender, Paolo Nutini, James Bay and John Mayer. It’s Indie-rock music with a sprinkling of Americana.
Since 2017 Miles has been championed by BBC Introducing Oxford, Caffe Nero and Sofar Sounds. He’s based in London now, regularly playing at venues like The Bedford (his local) and The Half Moon Putney. 2023 promises a great deal for this talented troubadour with a new EP coming in Spring 2023 and an impressive catalogue of songs itching to be released. Backed by an incredible band, Miles’ headline show at The Bedford on 12th April will be a night you won’t want to miss.
