PENNY REBELS

Penny Rebels are a band that isn’t chasing trends—they’re carving their own groove. With music that feels instantly familiar yet refreshingly original, their songs strike a rare balance between catchy hooks and irresistible rhythms that invite you to move. Each track stands on its own—no two songs are alike—but they all unmistakably sound like Penny Rebels. Their playful, tongue-in-cheek attitude shines through in music that doesn’t try to dig into your soul, but instead offers something arguably more important: a good time. Whether you’re nodding along in your headphones or caught up in the energy of a live crowd singing together, Penny Rebels make music that’s built for connection and good vibes. From singalong choruses to head-nodding grooves, this is feel-good rock with a wink—familiar, fun, and impossible not to move to. Penny Rebels came second at the 2026 Radio Wigwam Awards.

COLD JULY

Cold July is a young, award-winning UK band from Guildford, Surrey that writes timeless, harmony-driven, indie-folk-pop with classic singer-songwriter influences that resonate across multiple generations of music fans. With a male/female co-lead dynamic and rich three-part harmonies, Cold July evokes Rumours-era Fleetwood Mac and the California music scene of the 70s. Their music also draws from the melodic craftsmanship of Crowded House, the anthemic acoustic rock of the Goo Goo Dolls, as well as the harmony-driven indie folk of Flyte, and the strong emotional storytelling of Passenger and Phoebe Bridgers. Formed in May 2024 at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford, the band bonded over their love of classic songwriting and ambition to create long-lasting music. Despite their youth, Cold July cemented their status as one of the brightest emerging talents by winning the coveted Best Indie Act at the 2026 Radio Wigwam awards, presented by the legendary John Robb.
