We are excited to be starting live music properly back at The Bedford!
This show is FREE entry however there are a limited number of advance tickets available (at no charge) that you can sign up for which will guarantee a seat (max 6 per table).
Now that social distancing rules have been relaxed, you can also turn up on the night without having to book in advance on a first come first served basis for extra seats and standing room.

Jessie Faulkner was only 13 when she first performed an original song to her South East London school year. Since then, her debut single has been supported by Jess Iszatt on BBC Introducing, she’s worked closely with Mahogany, and has sold out her last three headline shows. Jessie’s music centres around storytelling, framed by honest lyrics and catchy melodies. She captivates her listeners with her personal and distinctive style of writing, creating a special relationship between her and her audience.

8:30pm THE ROAD
The Road are a rock, blues and folk group from London inspired by sixties and seventies acts including The Doors, Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel, The Velvet Underground, The Band, John Denver and Bob Dylan. The music embraces independence of spirit, revolutionary coming of age and the discovery of truth through heightened creative experience. Lyrical influences and themes are inspired by the artists and poets of the beat generation. Band members are Robbie Ransom on lead vocals, guitar, keyboard and harmonica. Fred Halliday on vocals, bass and rhythm guitar, Will Philipps on lead guitar and Nick Swallow on drums.

THE ONE
Described as ‘…quintessential neo prog at its finest’, by House of Prog, The One hails from Holland but with a distinctly English pedigree. Formed in 2022 by drummer/producer Tim Van Der Holst in collaboration with Frank Fish, they released their debut album ‘Sunrise’ in 2023, drawing on Tim’s early influences – Yes, King Crimson and Genesis. The release of album two, ‘Lighter than Air’ (Nov 2025 Construction Records), marks the birth of The One as a true band with six permanent members, three English and three Dutch, blending a multitude of influences and styles both individually and collectively.
Musically, ‘Lighter than Air’ represents a clear step forward. Where the debut leaned heavily on the legacy of 70’s progrock, the sequel has a more contemporary edge and sound – while retaining the archetypal prog elements: epic compositions, adventurous rhythms and virtuosic instrumental passages all with the unique sound of The One.
