LIVE AT THE BEDFORD
‘A night for songwriters, by songwriters’
Imported fresh from Nashville, Pindrop is bringing the traditional ‘songwriters-in-the-round’ to London for a a night dedicated purely to songwriting. With two slots of four artists each, songwriters will share the stage and take turns trying out new material, stripping down songs to their most raw form for an audience of attentive listeners.
Pindrop is a free event, and as such the artists who take part do so not for money, but for the chance to play in a playground where anything goes. For songwriters, trusting that new material will work is a leap of faith, but there is no truer test than to play it to a room full of people.
Pindrop is proud to have created a community of musicians and music-lovers alike, and is excited for this community to keep on growing.
Hosted by Ollie Kaiper-Leach and Natalie Gray.

About Ollie:
Ollie Kaiper-Leach (pronounced more like ‘Kaiser’, less like ‘Caper’) is a proud Yorskshireman, slumming it in the south for the sake of his art. A constant dreamer, Ollie’s childhood fascination with fairytales lead him into the world of theatre, musicals, and eventually songwriting. Ollie’s songs are brutally emotional yet poetically hopeful, with skilful piano playing wrapped in complex arrangements.
About Natalie:
“If Matty Healy had a baby with Madonna circa 1991 that would be Nat Gray.”
Natalie is currently working on her debut EP after a successful release of synth-pop inspired tracks ‘Dance Floor’ and ‘My Toy’. Natalie recently supported Rag’n’Bone Man at Penn Fest, and also co-founded and co-produced music tour Take Back The Beat, touring the country with her band, joined by artists such as Sody, Billy Lockett and Push Baby, in partnership with Women’s Aid raising money for survivors of domestic abuse.
