TOM JAWORSKI

After picking up the guitar at the age of 11 and rarely putting it down, Tom emerged from ACM College in Guildford 8 years later awarded ‘Guitarist of the Year’ and began his recording career with an appearance in Guitarist magazine whilst featuring on their “Blues Special” CD. Tom developed a very sought after roots based guitar style that would adapt to many forms of music whilst being firmly planted in the blues.

He began many years of gigging with many different bands and musicians from all walks of life including support slots for Tom Jones followed by a Roxette Arena tour with the Mim Grey Band. Tom regularly plays in ‘The Blue Devils’ blues band alongside legendary musicians such as Jim Leverton (Steve Marriott), Richard Studholme (Eric Bibb), Graham Walker (Gary Moore), Dave Bronze (Eric Clapton/Tom Jones), Andy Newmark (John Lennon) and Hamish Stuart (The Average White Band) and has more recently performed slide guitar and lap-steel duties for Paul Young in Los Pacaminos.

Aside from his live performances, his other passion lies in writing and recording. As a young composer, Tom’s songwriting was noticed early in his career as he was approached to have one of his songs ‘Easy Words’ feature on the hit US TV show Dawson’s Creek amongst other songwriting credits. Having played as a session musician for a broad spectrum of artists from varied genres, Tom also appeared on the FrankMusik Album “By Nicole” (featuring Natasha Beddingfield).

More recently, Tom has just completed and released his first Solo EP entitled ‘Wasted Blues’. Recorded over the summer lockdown of 2020 and comprising of 6 songs written and recorded with all instruments played by himself, it’s an eclectic mix of roots Americana songwriting infused with Blues, Country and Soul.

FRANKIE HUTCHINSON

The six strings on Frankie Hutchinson’s guitar are accomplices in the telling of unload stories. Coming from a musical family, she’s never known it any other way: songwriting was discussed over the kitchen table whilst the kettle whistled to the radio. Frankie’s debut single was well received at BBC Introducing, achieving regional plays in the North West, a first step in establishing her ‘ambient indie’ soundscapes. Frankie is super-self-sufficient, as adept in the studio as she is writing lyrics that talk truths to power.

SAM WRAY

Born June 1997 in Ashford Kent and raised in the suburbs of Milton Keynes, a place he describes as “what people in 1970 thought the year 3000 would look like”, Sam Wray has been involved with music his whole life. As a child he performed and competed around Europe as a hip-hop dancer before falling in love with rock and pop music as a teenager. Around this time his dad bought him his first guitar and taught him some chords starting his musical journey.

In 2015 Wray produced the debut album ‘Hurricane in May’ for his first major band ‘The Decos’ to receive national radio airplay and interviews for the BBC. Later that same year Sam moved to London to study Philosophy whilst establishing a name for himself as a solo musician in the city. He played around the London Open mic circuit and busked outside the Tate Modern. In 2017 he competed in the Gigs Busk in London competition and was also selected as a Hard Rock Cafe music ambassador.

Upon graduation in 2018, Sam moved back to his home town in Milton Keynes to hone his skills as a performer. He played keyboard and guitar for numerous Milton Keynes and London based artists, touring and gigging extensively. He also hosted a jam night at the MK11 music venue which was named the best open mic night in Milton Keynes by Open Mic UK.

Currently based in London and working as a piano tutor, Wray is collaborating extensively with local artists. He co-wrote the track ‘Paradigm City’ with Osquello gaining over 150k streams on Spotify and receiving extensive airplay on BBC Radio 1Xtra. He also launched his solo career in 2020 with 4 singles that work to establish Wray and his genre spanning sound. This work led to Sam signing his first record deal at the end of 2020 with indie label Motto Music and is due to release his EP in mid 2021.
