TOOTAWL

A looming presence in every sense, Tootawl’s music is frank, forward, and rich with emotion. Christened ‘too tawl’ due to his height whilst gigging in Nashville, the name stuck, and upon his arrival home to Ireland he began working as Tootawl. Playing his own brand of contemporary folk and blues, inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan and Neil Young, Tootawl fuses his Irish-ness with these titanic influences. Since Tennessee, Tootawl has received national radio airplay, and also had his song ‘House On The Moon’ played in an episode of the Netflix series ‘You Me Her’. He has released two LPs, his debut self-titled LP in 2020, which Ben Blackwell of Third Man Records called “wonderfully strong, Dylanesque”, and a concept album called Roger Fenton’s Wagon, also released on beautiful gatefold vinyl. Now, he is in the midst of releasing a string of new singles, in preparation for a third album.

JOSH ROBINSON

Josh Robinson has one of those voices that transport you to an unearthly place. His heartachingly unforgettable voice explores vital, universal human themes, notably mental health. Hailing from Hertfordshire, Josh Robinson embarked on a busker’s journey at just 14, taking to the streets to find his voice and hone his craft. In 2017, he set off for the coastal city of Brighton, where every busking performance earned him another devoted fan. He soon discovered that people on the streets wanted to hear more than just his covers. So, alongside his beautiful interpretations of other people’s songs, he began performing his own material—turning more heads and securing sold-out shows at venues like Brighton Music Hall. With this now loyal and dedicated following, he relocated to London in 2023. He continues to captivate audiences at iconic landmarks and venues across the city, including the London Eye, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Hard Rock Cafe, Pizza Express Live, and Camden Chapel. With two EPs under his belt and a third set for release in March 2025, his music is rapidly gaining attention. He has earned Track of the Week on BBC Introducing, supported by DJ Melita Dennett, and delivered a memorable performance on BBC Live Lounge with Stephen Brown.
