8:30 PM JESS WADDILOVE
Jess Waddilove is a twenty-year-old up-and-coming artist based in London. She grew up in Dubai and fuses a range of musical and cultural influences to connect with a broad audience. Drawing on inspiration from acts including Paloma Faith, Ella Eyre and Mimi Webb, Jess is crafting a unique blend of pop music that will have mass appeal.
No stranger to the stage, Jess has already performed at Alex James’s Big Feastival as well as opening sell-out shows at the O2 Academy in Oxford. The London-based singer has been championed by DJ Kat Orman at BBC Radio Oxford after several plays of her early recordings. Since studying at Diverse Performing Arts School in Dubai and attending ICMP in the UK, Jess has had the opportunity to learn and collaborate with both established and emerging musical talent.
With songs exploring topics such as relationship breakdowns, loneliness and alcohol abuse, the lyrics are far from the shallow end of the pool. On stage, Jess is both at home and confident. Sporting crimped hairstyles, baggy flared jeans paired with high top trainers, the twenty-year-old has her sights set on success in the music industry as a creator and curator of top quality content.
