CAii

CAii is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Manchester who makes outspoken, defiant, autobiographical pop music referencing mental health issues, toxic relationships, and her experience as a young woman in the modern world. Influenced by artists such as Banks, Fleetwood Mac, PVRIS, and Nirvana, her songwriting fuses relatable, raw lyrics with dramatic production and soaring vocals culminating in her unique take on dark, electronic pop.

Originally working with a range of producers in a traditional pop direction, CAii decided more creative control was needed to curate her own unique sound and take more musical risks leading her to go on to study music business and production. CAii has been honing her skills as a producer ever since and her debut single – a cover of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’ – was featured on the Loku YouTube channel, garnering over 14k views.

CAii has played Sundown Festival, Dot to Dot, R-Fest, and Indie Week, along with gigging all around the country. In 2019 she was shortlisted as one of 5 Manchester finalists in the Hoax Live competition to support Ed Sheeran on his Divide tour out of 650 applicants.

CAii has released two EPs to date ‘tease.’ and ‘tangle.’, which are the first two chapters in a story that will chronicle the rise and fall of a deeply flawed romance and the fight to rediscover yourself afterward. The EPs have been supported by outlets such as Yellow & Black, Keep Walking, Pop Muzik, Conversations About Her, and many other international blogs and independent playlists. Even though 2020 was a relatively quiet year for music, CAii released a number of singles including ‘Back It Up’, which became her most successful single to date, and ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You’ – a collaboration with BtheLick and DJ Clipps. 2022 will see her next EP and a return to regular gigging again.
“Her music combines 80s synth-pop melodies with moody, crepuscular production and lyrics of striking emotional acuity – imagine a supergroup consisting of Banks, Florence Welch, and London Grammar.” David Sue – Manchester Evening News

ADAM SAUNDERS

From the heart of the Surrey hills, Adam Saunders is a singer-songwriter who’s genre bending style has transcended into cohesive alternative anthems. From a young age, Adam showed musicality as he would try and sing along to every song on the radio in the back of cars and ended up picking up a guitar at the age of 9, shaping his first musical knowledge around the songs of Oasis and other indie outfits. This love of indie music soon translated to writing songs from the age of 16, focussing his early songs around heartbreaks that hadn’t happened. At the age of 18, he released his first ep recorded and produced by himself in his bedroom. Later, Adam has gone on to study Songwriting at BIMM London university further developing his abilities.
