8:00 PM JESS WADDILOVE
Jess Waddilove is a twenty-year-old up-and-coming artist based in London. Having grown up in Dubai, Jess fuses a range of musical and cultural influences to connect with a broad audience. Drawing on inspiration from acts including Paloma Faith, Ella Eyre and Mimi Webb, Jess is crafting a unique blend of pop music that will have mass appeal.
No stranger to the stage, Jess has already performed at Alex James’s Big Festival as well as opening sell-out shows at the O2 Academy in Oxford. The London-based singer has been championed by DJ Kat Orman at BBC Radio Oxford after several plays of her early recordings. Since studying at Diverse Performing Arts School in Dubai and attending ICMP in the UK, Jess has had the opportunity to learn and collaborate with both established and emerging musical talent.
With songs exploring topics such as relationship breakdowns, loneliness and alcohol abuse, the lyrics are far from the shallow end of the pool. On stage, Jess is both at home and confident in a way few young performers are. Sporting crimped hairstyles, baggy flared jeans paired with high top trainers, the nineteen-year-old has her sights set on success in the music industry as creates and curates content.

8:30 PM LUCY WROE
Lucy Wroe is a singer-songwriter from Winchester, living and performing in London. Her first music release in January 2020 stemmed from 10 years of songwriting and developing her sound as a musician after first picking up a guitar at the age of 10. Her indie-folk sound soon evolved from the release of her debut EP in July 2020…
Now, Lucy’s sound is best described as jazz-infused indie-pop, taking influence from Lianne La Havas and Jessie Ware. Backed by a drummer, bassist and guitarist, Lucy and her band are currently showcasing a collection of new music, alongside the latest EP Same World, which explore the passion of a new relationship, the complexity of commitment and how this drives us towards self-reflection.

9:30 PM MATT GINNO
Matt Ginno is a singer-songwriter writing ‘songs to be sung’; rich vocal melodies shape a winding road for an outpouring of honest lyrics to spill; words that we can never quite find in the moment. Performing from an early age, he started writing music as a teenager, his distinctive sound and storytelling soon taking shape as he graduated from busking the small streets of home, to the heart of the capital. Last year saw the singer-songwriter headline venues such as The Bedford, Balham and The Troubadour, Earls Court, and his song, Morning Dew, picked up by BBC Sussex & Surrey as their BBC Introducing Track of the Day. He returns to headline The Bedford on January 11th and kick off what promises to be a big year for the singer-songwriter.
