LIVE AT THE BEDFORD PRESENTS: THE ANNA HOWIE BAND, JAMES HODDER, AND BELLA COLLINS

 

On Thursday 3rd July Acclaimed singer-songwriter Anna Howie is set to captivate audiences in Balham as part of her highly anticipated UK tour. Performing at The Bedford . Anna will showcase tracks from her brand-new album Good for Roses, including the powerful first single, Mind the Gap.

Blending Americana, folk, and country influences, London-born Howie has built a reputation for heartfelt storytelling and exquisite musicianship. Her latest album delves into themes of love, resilience, and self-discovery, earning praise for its lyrical depth and authentic sound. Good for Roses follows the success of Howie’s previous releases and solidifies her status as one of the UK’s most exciting independent artists. She will be joined on stage by her great band, Cardiff born Blues queen, Bella Collins and the brilliant Jame Hodder.

JAMES HODDER a Kent based singer-songwriter who is gaining a loyal following and a reputation as a standout artist in the UK Americana Scene. Known for his heartfelt lyrics and evocative storytelling, Hodder blends folk and Americana influences into powerful solo performances that have captivated audiences time and again. His 2023 album Wilderness Road received glowing reviews and widespread airplay, solidifying his place as one of the genres rising talents. A 2025 AMAUK Festival showcase artist, Hodder has performed at renowned Americana festivals such as Black Deer, Maverick and Ramblin’ Roots Revue, earning praise for his intimate, enagaging live sets. With a growing fanbase and work underway on a new album, Hodder’s star continues to rise.

BELLA COLLINS is a singer, guitarist and songwriter from Cardiff. Bella’s music is firmly rooted in the blues, she has a unique vocal style and has performed at Cambridge Folk Festival, the Great British Rhythm and Blues festival and the Bitter end, New York.
