What's on

Get ready for an unforgettable night of music as we bring you the 4th of July American Music Night at The Bedford with Alyssa Bonagura & friends! Join us on Tue Jul 04 2023 at 7:00 PM GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) for an evening filled with the best of American music.

Alyssa Bonagura, Nashville-native singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist has a sound that reaches far beyond her Nashville roots – It’s a sound that blurs the boundaries between genres – mixing the southern storytelling of country music and the cinematic sweep of British music into its own hybrid. For Alyssa, a lifelong road warrior who spent her infancy on a tour bus with her country music parents, recorded a duet with Kenny Rogers at age 10, received her diploma from Sir Paul McCartney, and currently balances her critically-acclaimed solo career with an ongoing gig writing songs for Aerosmith’s frontman Steven Tyler & Country star Jessie James Decker, it’s also a sound that’s every bit as diverse as her own story. She has just finished her first year performing at the 02 Arena’s C2C festival & Highway’s festival at the Royal Albert Hall and has gained support from legendary Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. She will be joined by some of her talented friends William Poyer & SJ & Kieran of Morganway. From country to rock, pop to blues, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

So gather your friends and come along to the American Music Night at The Bedford with Alyssa Bonagura & friends. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!

William Poyer: Inspired by the music of Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell, Poyer’s songwriting hits that sweet spot between emotional and anthemic, as he jacks up his intimate and introspective folk with giant melodic hooks and soaring vocals.

Morganway: Striking six-part harmonies, energetic rhythms, catchy songs, and a fiercely formidable live act – Morganway have made quite the impression on the UK’s rising Americana scene. With traces of 70’s West Coast and classic rock to rootsy folk and country pop, Morganway is “like no other band out there right now…. reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac” (Entertainment Focus).
