8:30PM    FILIP CLEMENTS

Filip Clements describes his debut album Soft Apocalypse as a universe. Bold, expansive and shimmering with possibility, it is also a universe of contrasts –light and darkness, confidence and vulnerability, brooding indie rock influences and vibrant pop hooks. Written, produced and recorded alongside a stellar line-up of collaborators, including Grammy-winners Catherine Marks (boygenius, Ed O’Brien), Martin Terefe (Yungblud, Robbie Williams) and Tord Knudsen (The Wombats), Soft Apocalypse is a dynamic introduction to an artist not afraid to do things differently. As the title suggests, there is hope and beauty to be found in a world on fire. And Clements is the perfect guide.
