NAVINA
NAVINA is an indie folk singer-songwriter and producer creating music that uplifts the soul through poetic storytelling and immersive production. New music this year sees her return to her singer-songwriter folk roots, with songs that are honest, cinematic, and quietly powerful. Her sound blends intimate folk songwriting with rich, modern textures, drawing inspiration from the likes of Paul Simon, Joan Baez, and Cat Stevens.
Her new single “Rain”, released last month has already received coverage from the likes of Alfitude, stating her to be “one of the UK’s most interesting indie-folk talents right now” and picking up support from BBC Radio 6, BBC Cambridgeshire and Artist of the week on BBC Asian Network. Previously, her debut release 27 Hearts was named Track of the Month on BBC London, Pick of the Uploader on BBC Introducing, and featured on Apple Music’s Best of the Week. Circles was voted Top Track by BBC Radio 6 Music, while Pieces landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday India & Gulf. I also was named a BBC Radio 1 Artist to Watch.
NAVINA’s creative ethos is “create to uplift”, where she shares creative inspiration and philosophical frameworks on her Substack. With new music rolling out throughout the year, this single marks the start of a new chapter: rooted in folk storytelling, driven with intention, and built with purpose.
