Lino print workshop

This hands-on session introduces the satisfying process of relief printing – where designs are carved into lino, inked and printed onto paper. It’s a wonderfully absorbing craft that’s easy to pick up and surprisingly relaxing once you get started.

Whether it’s your first time trying printmaking or you’re simply looking for a creative midweek activity, this workshop is designed to be welcoming and easy to follow.

What You’ll Learn
During the workshop you’ll be guided through the basics of lino printing:
• Choosing or sketching your design
• Transferring your design onto lino
• Safe lino carving techniques
• Inking your block using a roller
• Printing your design onto paper
You’ll receive plenty of tips and guidance throughout, making the workshop suitable for complete beginners.
