Local Businesses Summer Bash
Join us for the 7th July Local Businesses Summer Bash at the Bedford!
Celebrating our local community!
We are bringing a new date in the business and community calendar, the July Summer Bash.
- A busy marketplace with local sellers, makers and artists – 10am-4pm
- Taster sessions for kids: kids yoga, art, face painting – 11am-4pm
- Speakers and taster sessions: first aid, social media, video content, sales, voice coaching, embodied movement, mini headshots.
- Networking Drinks – 4-6pm.
The Christmas fair in December 2023 was a great opportunity for local businesses to come together and showcase their offerings to the local community. We are doing it again with the Local Businesses Summer Bash.
The Summer BASH will be a day of perusing, shopping local & meeting the people behind the businesses, discovering new things during the taster sessions, connecting and networking.
Come for the day, try the taster sessions and stay for a drink at the networking event.
Entry is free to the market stalls and the taster sessions but you need to book a ticket so you get the reminders and the details once it is all finalised.
For the networking drinks, tickets are £15 early bird and £20 general tickets and include one drink.
Help us spread the word by talking and sharing the event with other people. The more the merrier.

The Small Business Network is a commuity of local businesses who connect, learn and support each other. We have enjoyed running events and workshops in the area over the past 4 years and we bring entrepreneurs, self-employed, small businesses and speakers together so that each person can feel positive, supported and able to find answers in their business journeys.
